faulty air conditioning indifferent staff
The air conditioning was faulty. It shut off automatically at night. this made getting a good night's sleep difficult. Not ideal. also, some staff seemed indifferent, which i found quite surprising and frankly, not very helpful. the laundry facilities were also a letdown. The machines did not clean properly, and the dryer was out of service. it seems some attention to detail is needed..

The kitchen came fully equipped, i noticed it even included a dishwasher. i appreciated that laundry facilities were available. There were two washing machines and two dryers.
the receptionist was not particularly helpful on arrival.

peeling paint uncomfortable beds
the air conditioning, it barely functioned. the room, it felt quite rundown with paint peeling everywhere. i even noticed the floors WERENT cleaned well. the beds? oh, they were spectacularly uncomfortable, just what i needed after a long day.

excellent royal mile stay!

central location blackout curtains sound proofing studio kitchen
i loved the location. it was steps from the royal mile. the room had blackout curtains and soundproofing. this. the studio double bed had a small kitchen area. it included a microwave and refrigerator.
the bathroom lighting could be a bit brighter. it was a minor inconvenience.

This hotel is on the royal mile. Many shops and historical sites are nearby. waverley station is within walking distance. access to transportation and attractions is very convenient. the area felt safe, even late at night.

Although there is no breakfast service. The in-room kitchen allowed for easy meal preparation. several restaurants and cafes are a short walk away. i tried a local pub and the food was amazing! grocery stores are also nearby for supplies.

the room was seriously lacking. the bathroom sink was clogged, and honestly, i expected more for what i paid. it, i have to say.
